WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Bates men's track and field team continued their strong season Friday and Saturday at Williams College's Farley Inter Regional Extravaganza, with a number of Bobcats moving up the program's top-10 lists.
Meet Highlights
- Sophomore Evan Berthiaume (East Greenwich, R.I.) finished second in his section and 10th overall in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.20 seconds, good for eighth on the Bates all-time performance list.
- Senior captain Truman Williams (Montclair, N.J.) took fourth out of 37 runners in the 400 meters with a time of 48.85 seconds.
- First-year Nate Roberts (Summit, N.J.) won his section and took 13th overall in the 800 meters in a personal-record time of 1:52.63, moving him up to seventh on the Bates all-time performance list. Junior Ross Tejeda (Milton, Mass.) paced the Bobcats in the event at the meet, placing 11th in 1:52.35.
- First-year Max Hoffman (Wellesley, Mass.) placed 17th in the 1,500 meters in a personal-record time of 3:55.10.
- Sophomore Seneca Moore (Lansing, Mich.) placed fourth in the 110-meter hurdles with a prelims time of 14.81 seconds and a finals time of 14.95 seconds.
- Senior Andrew Mottur (Rumford, R.I.) took seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:31.98.
The Bobcats are back in action Thursday when they travel to Cambridge, Mass. to compete at the MIT Final Qualifier.
