CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Bates men's track and field senior captain
Evan Migdole broke a 22-year-old school record in the 400-meter hurdles on Thursday, highlighting the MIT Final Qualifier for the Bobcats.
Meet Highlights
- In his final meet as a Bobcat, Migdole (Westbrook, Conn.) raced to the finish in the 400-meter hurdles in 53.43 seconds, breaking the previous school record of 53.54 seconds which was set by Adam Macbeth '06 in 2004. Migdole finishes the season ranked 36th in all of NCAA Division III in the 400-meter hurdles.
- Senior captain Ross Tejeda (Milton, Mass.) moved into second on the Bates all-time performance list in the 1,500 meters with his personal-record time of 3:48.13. That mark was good for ninth place at the meet and ranks 26th in the country.
- Sophomore Nate Roberts (Summit, N.J.) set a personal record in the 800 meters by winning his section with a time of 1:51.56. That mark was good for seventh place at the meet and ranks 39th in NCAA Division III.
- Junior Miles Logan (Brunswick, Maine) surged onto the Bates top-10 all-time performance list at No. 7 in the 1,500 meters with his personal-record time of 3:51.57.
- Junior Jack Crum (Bristol, Vt.) also set a personal record in the 1,500 meters with his time of 3:53.07.
- Senior Aydan Gideon-Hope (Norton, Mass.) placed fourth in the 100-meter dash in 10.82 seconds.
Qualifiers for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be announced Friday on ncaa.com via a press release.
