WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Bates men's track and field team competed at the non-scoring F.I.R.E. MEET at Williams this Friday and Saturday.
Meet Highlights
- Senior captain Ross Tejeda (Milton, Mass.) placed eighth out of 55 competitors in the 1,500 meters in a personal-record time of 3:50.36, good for third on the Bates all-time performance list.
- Senior captain Evan Migdole (Westbrook, Conn.) took fourth out of 18 competitors with his time of 54.55 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles.
- Sophomore Max Hoffman (Wellesley, Mass.) won his section in the 5000 meters and placed 17th overall out of 59 competitors in 14:53.72.
The Bobcats are sending a select few athletes to the MIT Final Qualifier this Thursday in Cambridge, Mass. at Cherie and Don Morrison Track.
