MEDFORD, Mass. -- Andy Martagon, Aasya Patel, and Grace Flaherty each scored triumphs in the women's squash regular-season finale for No. 19 Bates College as the Bobcats visited No. 11 Tufts Saturday.

The Jumbos (10-4) earned the team win on the day, doubling up the garnet and white, 6-3.

Martagon, playing at the No. 1 spot for Bates, secured a 3-1 win (11-4, 11-5, 7-11, 11-9) over Tuft's Vharshamithraa Dinesh. Patel needed five games to erase Caroline Chin at No. 3, doing so by scores of 11-6, 11-6, 9-11, 6-11, 11-8. Flaherty won her match at No. 6 in four games (15-17, 17-15, 11-8, 11-2) vs. Sora Karanja.

The Bobcats (6-9) now await the announcement of the seedings for next weekend's NESCAC Championships, which will be hosted by Amherst College (Feb. 10-11). Tournament match-ups will be released this Tuesday.
