CANTON, N.Y. -- Playing its final regular-season match of the 2025-26 campaign, No. 24 Bates women's lacrosse traveled to St. Lawrence University Sunday where the Bobcats dropped an 8-1 decision to the host-Saints.

Bates' lone triumph came courtesy of sophomore captain Scarlett Hine, who secured a hard-fought, 3-1 victory (11-8, 11-13, 13-11, 11-8) over Mariam Dodd at the No. 3 position. 

No. 21 St. Lawrence improves to 12-5 overall with the triumph. The garnet and white goes to 4-9 on the year.

The Bobcats  now await their seeding in next weekend's (Feb. 27-March 1) CSA Divisional Team Championships in Philadelphia, Pa.
