LEWISTON, Maine -- Andy Martagon, Navya Gupta, and  Tia Billimoria each extended their personal winning streaks to three-straight Saturday as Bates College hosted No. 13 Amherst College in the Bates Squash Center.

The visiting Mammoths (8-6) won the match, defeating the Bobcats by a score of 6-3.

Martagon, playing at the No. 1 spot for Bates, coasted to a 3-0 win (11-5, 11-7, 11-7) over Amherst's Callie Delalio. Gupta needed five games to erase Alex Brown at No. 2, doing so by scores of 8-11, 11-9, 11-9, 2-11, 11-5. Billimoria won her match at No. 3 in four games (11-9, 12-10, 8-11, 11-3) vs. Morgan Chaudhary.

No. 19 Bates (3-6) will return to competition this Wednesday at No. 25 Colby College. Start time is slated for 7:00 p.m.
