Patel, taking center stage in the Bates Squash Center for the last time, made the most of the occasion as the captain collected a 3-1 victory at the #1 position, defeating Bowdoin's Darcy Weber by scores of 11-7, 7-11, 11-7, and 13-11. Fellow captain, sophomore

Bates drops to 4-6 with the setback while the Polar Bears even their ledger at 7-7 on the season. The Bobcats now head to Colby College to take on the No. 18 Mules Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
