LEWISTON, Maine -- No. 22 Bates College faced off against No. 28 Connecticut College Friday in the first contest of the new year for the Bobcats. The garnet and white coasted to an 8-1 triumph over the visiting Camels in the Bates Squash Center.
Seven of the Bobcats' eight victories on the evening were of the 3-0 variety.

The Bobcats get right back at it Saturday morning with an 11:00 a.m. home contest vs. No. 32 Hobart (0-6).
