Rolled to a 3-0 (11-4, 11-3, 11-1) win at the No. 8 position as Bates defeated Hobart 7-2 (Jan. 10).... Delivered a 3-2 (9-11, 11-5, 11-9, 7-11, 11-3) victory at the No. 7 position as Bates won a 5-4 thriller over Wesleyan (Feb. 1).... Ended the year on a high note with a 3-2 (4-11, 4-11, 11-8, 11-9, 11-3) victory at the No. 7 position against his opponent from Denison in the Summers Cup Consolation Semifinal (Feb. 28).
