HARTFORD, Conn. -- No. 2 seed Tufts knocked off No. 7 Bates Saturday in the quarterfinal round of the 2025 NESCAC Women's Squash Championships as the Jumbos advance with a 9-0 defeat of the Bobcats.
The Jumbos (9-6) now take on No. 3 seed Amherst in Sunday's semifinals (9 am), which defeated No. 6 seed Bowdoin, 9-0. No. 1 seed (and tournament host) Trinity takes on No. 4 Williams in the other semifinal match (12 pm).
Bates (4-7) returns to regular-season match play next Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. home contest vs. No. 21 Colby.
