PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- No. 20 Bates College faced off against top-seed and No. 13 ranked Amherst on day one of the 2025 Divisional Collegiate Women's Team Squash Championships as the Bobcats dropped a 9-0 decision to the Mammoths.
Bates, serving as the No. 8 seed in the Kurtz Cup division of the event, will now take on No. 5 seed and No. 17 ranked Bowdoin in Saturday's Consolation bracket at 3 p.m. as the Polar Bears dropped an 8-1 result to No. 4 seed and No. 16 ranked Middlebury. The No. 13 ranked Mammoths (16-5) move on to play the Panthers in the semifinals Saturday at 3 p.m.
