New York, N.Y. -- Bates women's squash sophomore, Navya Gupta represented the Bobcats Saturday on day one of the CSA Individual National Championships in New York City.

Gupta (New Delhi, India) dropped a four-game decision (13-15, 11-5, 6-11, 4-11) to Allie Stoddard (Fy.-Wyndmoor, Pa.) of the University of Pennsylvania in the quarterfinals of the Holleran North bracket.

The reigining All-NESCAC Second Team selection, now prepares to square off against Maureen Foley of the University of Virginia Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the consolation round.
