AMHERST, Mass. -- No. 20 Bates College, playing its fourth match of the week and third in as many days, visited Amherst College Sunday where the Bobcats dropped a 9-0 decision to the No. 13 Mammoths.
Amherst climbs to 7-3 with the victory while the garnet and white, with its third-straight setback, finishes the day at 3-4 overall.
The Bobcats will now remain idle until next Sunday at 10:30 a.m. when Bates plays host to No. 19 Wesleyan.
