CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Bates College women's squash pocketed its second-straight victory to start the season Saturday as the No. 20 Bobcats strutted to a 7-2 triumph over No. 22 Denison in a match hosted by Harvard University.
The first-year trio of
Scarlett Hine,
Yasmine Khan, and
Sav Thomson has yet to lose a single game thus far as each collected a shutout win for the second day in a row in their respective matches.
Tia Billimoria, positioned at No. 5, lost her first game of the day before storming back to secure a 3-1 triumph.
Angelina Amastal, playing at No. 7, and
Daina Velez, holding down the No. 9 slot, also earned 3-1 wins vs. Denison.
Grace Flaherty moves to 2-0 on the year with a 3-0 victory at No. 2 for Bates.
The Bobcats close out an action-packed weekend Sunday at 1:00 p.m. as the garnet anf white visits No. 2 Trinity in Hartford, Conn.
