AMHERST, Mass.-- No. 28 Bates College, playing its final road contest of the 2022-23 regular season, visited No. 17 Amherst Sunday as the host Mammoths blanked the Bobcats, 9-0, in women's squash action.
Amherst, now 7-3 on the year, swept six of the matches by scores of 3-0.

Andy Martagon (Puebla, Mexico), pushed Daksha Pathak to five sets in the No. 1 position. Martagon owned a 2-games-to-1 lead (5-11, 11-9, 13-11) before Pathak stormed back to swipe games four and five (11-8, 11-9) and secure the triumph for Amherst.
Erika Parker (Sr.-San Salvador, El Salvador) and
Grace Flaherty (So.-Malvern, Pa.), playing at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, for the Bobcats, both experienced 3-1 defeats in their outings.
The garnet and white (3-11) returns to the Bates Squash Center on Wednesday to host Pine Tree State foe, No. 20 Colby, at 7:00 p.m.
