GENEVA, N.Y. -- Closing out a pair of back-to-back road matches in upstate New York, #22 Bates College paid a visit to #13 William Smith College Tuesday where the Bobcats dropped an 8-1 decision to the host-Herons in women's nationally-ranked squash action.
William Smith moves to 6-2 on the year while the garnet and white, mired in a five-match losing streak, slips to 1-8 overall.
The Bobcats' lone victory came in the #9 slot, where
Dani Levy (So.-Brookline, Mass.) enjoyed a 3-1 triumph (11-4, 11-9, 3-11, 11-4) over Kristen McCormick of the Herons.
Bates heads back to campus for its next competition as the Bobcats welcome in #15 Williams this Friday at 6:00 p.m.
