WATERVILLE, Maine -- The No. 17 nationally ranked Bates women's squash team swept five matches on its way to an 8-1 win at Colby Wednesday night.
It marks the 20th consecutive time Bates (3-8) has defeated Colby (0-10) in women's squash.
Junior captain
Erika Parker (San Salvador, El Salvador) led the way, sweeping Colby's Clara Lehv 3-0 (11-6, 12-10, 11-7) at the No. 2 position. Junior
Ella Lungstrum (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and senior
Natasha Jones (Roslindale, Mass.) also earned sweeps, with Lungstrum winning 3-0 (11-8, 11-9, 14-12) over Karla Dominguez at the No. 4 position and Jones winning 3-0 (11-3, 11-5, 11-9) over Sabrina Teope at the No. 5 position.Â

Lucy Moseley (Philadelphia, Pa.) swept aside Colby's Adelaide Cline 3-0 (11-2, 11-7, 11-2) at the No. 9 position.Â

Grace Flaherty (Malvern, Pa.) rallied from a game down to win 3-1 (4-11, 11-6, 11-3, 11-9) at the No. 3 position while juniorÂ
Victoria Haghighi (Bronx, N.Y.) held off Juliette Love 3-1 (11-8, 11-3, 8-11, 11-9) at the No. 6 position.Â

Cordelia Dotson (Houston, Texas) shutout her opponent in a pair of games in a 3-1 (11-0, 11-13, 11-9, 11-0) win at the No. 7 position.Â
The Bobcats are back in action Sunday morning when they host St. Lawrence at 11am for the team's final home match of the season.
