WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Bates women's track and field team competed at the F.I.R.E Meet this Friday and Saturday at Williams College, as the Bobcats neared the end of their 2026 outdoor campaign.
Two meets remain, the MIT Final Qualifier this Thursday, and for the select few, the NCAA Champioships.
Meet Highlights
- First-year Alisandra Lindos (Westbrook, Maine) was the runner-up in the triple jump with a leap of 38-10.25 (11.84m) and junior Alannah Ardrey (New York City) placed fifth with a mark of 36-8.25 (11.18m).
- Sophomore Graca Bila (Westbrook, Maine) finished third in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:04.29 and sophomore Dara Salka (Somers, Conn.) was seventh in 1:06.43.
- Senior captain Moriah Scharn (Dunstable, Mass.) took fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in 14.77 seconds.
- Senior captain Carli Ciavarelli (Ridgefield, Conn.) finished fourth in the hammer throw with a heave of 157-10 (48.10m).
- Sophomore Madison Alves (Stoneham, Mass.) placed fifth in the finals of the 100-meter dash in 12.83 seconds after finishing sixth in the prelims in 12.63 seconds.
- Senior Kylie Musante (Brentwood, Tenn.) finished seventh out of 36 runners in the 800 meters in a personal-record time of 2:16.06.Â
- First-year Charlotte Everhart (Vienna, Va.) took ninth out of 21 competitors in the 400 meters in 58.30 seconds.
- Junior Lia Traficonte (Cumberland, Maine), Bila, Everhart, and first-year Hannah Pawlowski (Bow, N.H.) teamed up to run the 4x400 relay in 3:55.32, fifth on the Bates top-10 all-time performance list.
