Alisandra Lindos will cap off debut season at NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

The impressive rookie ranks second all-time at Bates in the outdoor triple jump

INDIANAPOLIS -- Bates first-year Alisandra Lindos has officially qualified for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the triple jump, making her the first Bates rookie to qualify for NCAAs in any event since Elise Lambert '22 in 2019.

Lindos (Westbrook, Maine) is seeded 20th in the triple jump based on her season-best leap of 38-11.5 (11.87m), which won her the NESCAC title in the event.

She already ranks second all-time at Bates in the outdoor triple jump, behind only the great Sally Ceesay '18, who also made NCAAs as a rookie in 2015.

The triple jump prelims and finals are set for Saturday, May 23 at 2 p.m. in La Crosse, Wis. at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex.
