NEW ORLEANS -- All-Region honors for the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, with three Bates women's track and field athletes making the list.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
- Sophomore Alannah Ardrey (New York City) earns the first All-Region honors of her career thanks to her winning leap in the high jump of 5-3.25 (1.61m) at the Pine Tree Classic, which trails only two athletes on the Bates all-time performance list, both of whom jumped 5-5.
- Junior captain Carli Ciavarelli (Ridgefield, Conn.) repeats as an All-Region performer in the hammer throw -- based on her career-best toss of 165-10 (50.56m) at the Carla Coffey Invitational -- good for third on the Bates all-time performance list.
- Junior Moriah Scharn (Dunstable, Mass.) earns All-Region honors in the 100-meter hurdles based on her personal-record time of 14.68 seconds, achieved at the MIT Final Qualifier. Scharn is chasing only Bates legend Allison Hill '17 (14.04 seconds) on the Bates all-time performance list.
Ciavarelli and Scharn both also earned All-Region honors during the most recent
indoor season for Bates.
