HUNTINGTON, Vt. -- The Bates Nordic skiing teams competed in a fun 3x5K classic relay on Saturday to wrap up the Saint Michael's Carnival, held at Sleepy Hollow.

Elsa Sanborn (Burlington, Vt.), sophomore
Izzy Glackin (Vail, Colo.), and first-year
Greta Hendrickson (Duluth, Minn.) paced the Bobcats in the women's race by taking 12th place out of 21 teams with a time of 49:12.7, earning 53 carnival points.
On the men's side, sophomoreÂ
Eske Roennau (Aspen, Colo.), first-year
Cabot Godoy (Mammoth Lakes, Calif.), and first-year
Sage Grossi (Montpelier, Vt.) led the way with their time of 43:14.0, good for 13th place out of 19 teams and 53 carnival points.
Combined, the Bates Nordic and alpine skiing teams scored 295 points over the course of two days, good for 11th place out of 14 teams.
The Bobcats are back in action this Friday and Saturday at the Dartmouth Carnival, with the Nordic events held at Oak Hill in Hanover, N.H.
