WATERFORD, Conn. -- Bates College women's cross country collected an eighth-place team finish at Saturday's 2025 NESCAC XC Championship Meet, hosted by Connecticut College (Harkness Park).
With 224 points, the Bobcats placed 14 points behind seventh-place Bowdoin College. Williams College earned the victory with 32 points, while Middlebury (69), Connecticut College (81), Tufts (104), Amherst (138), and Wesleyan (182) rounded out the Top-6.
Leah White (Jr.) paced the garnet and white with a time of 21:24.7 (9th overall) on the 6K course, good for All-NESCAC honors. It's the fastest time ever recorded by a Bates women's cross country runner at the NESCAC Championships since the meet became a 6K race in 2006.
Maeve Ginevan (Fy.), in her first NESCAC Championship appearance, followed at 23:00.3 (57th) while
Gwendolyn Anderson (Jr.) crossed the line at 23:04.0 (59th).

Bates is back in action on Saturday, Nov. 15 when they travel to Hopkinton, N.H. for the NCAA East Regionals.
