MEDFORD, Mass. -- No. 26 Bates College closed out the regular-season portion of its men's squash calendar Saturday as the Bobcats dropped a 7-2 decision to No. 13 Tufts.
Bates' victories came at the No. 6 and No. 9 positions.
Maks Celm scored an impressive 3-2 triumph in the sixth slot, outlasting Tuft's Emerson Wang (10-12, 11-4, 11-8, 3-11, 11-6).
Philip Han followed at No. 9, besting Samuel Charlton, 3-1 (11-6, 11-7, 7-11, 11-8).
The Bobcats (3-12) now await the announcement of the seedings for next weekend's NESCAC Championships, which will be hosted by Amherst College (Feb. 10-11). Tournament match-ups will be released this Tuesday.
