BRUNSWICK, Maine -- The Bates women's outdoor track and field team won four events and placed third overall out of nine teams Saturday at the Pine Tree Relays.
The Bobcats scored 97 points as a team, 37 points ahead of fourth-place host Bowdoin.Â
Sophomore
Chrissy Aman (Hanover, N.H.) moved into 10th place on the Bates all-time performance list in the 800 meters with her winning time of 2:17.07. Meanwhile, senior captain
Amanda Kaufman (Somers, Conn.) won the 100 meter hurdles in 15.38 seconds and sophomore
Maddie Lee (Providence, R.I.) won the 400 meter hurdles in a blazing fast 1:04.99, moving into fifth on the Bates all-time performance list in the event.

Frieda Kickliter (Mobile, Ala.), senior
Tara Ellard (Brewster, Mass.), and junior
Ilana Zeilinger (Washington, D.C.) squared off against Husson and won in 10:15.13.Â
Other top three performances for Bates on Saturday included:
- Junior Alice Cockerham (Kingfield, Maine) took second in the 100 meters in a personal record time of 12.90 seconds and junior Lily D'Addario (Locust Valley, N.Y.) placed third in a personal record time of 13 seconds.
- First-year Julia White (Orono, Maine) finished third in the 5000 meters in 19:08.62.
- First-year Maggie Amann (Scarborough, Maine) ran her first collegiate 3000 meter steeplechase and finished third in 13:25.
- The Bates 4x400 relay team of junior Abbey Otterbein (Beverly, Mass.), Kaufman, Aman, and senior captain Emily-Claire Duffy (Belmont, Mass.) placed third in 4:10.86.
The Bobcats are back in action next Saturday at the NESCAC Championships, hosted by Hamilton College.
