Senior attacker Andrew Melvin scored a game-high three goals and dished out an assist to lead the Bobcats to a 10-8 come-from-behind road win over Babson on Wednesday. He assisted on the game-tying goal and scored the go-ahead goal. Melvin also tallied three ground balls against the Beavers.

Then on Sunday, Melvin matched his career-high with four goals to help Bates knock off Wesleyan at Garcelon Field by a final score of 15-14. He recorded two ground balls as well in the contest.

Through three games this season, Melvin is second on the team in goals with nine and first in the NESCAC in assists with five.
