Senior Annie Duke (Englewood, Colo.) notched career-highs in goals (3) and assists (2) to help the Bates women's lacrosse team defeat No. 21 nationally ranked Colorado College 19-14 on the road Thursday. She also recorded a team-high four ground balls. 

The Bobcats (1-0) established an early 7-1 lead and never trailed. Duke assisted on an Allison Dewey goal to put Bates up 3-1. And then Duke scored on an assist from Summer Dias to extend the advantage to 7-1. Duke scored on a free position opportunity with 8:02 left in the half to extend the lead to 10-4.

Duke connected with Bates' leading scorer Camille Belletete to open the second half for her second assist of the game. She then capped off the afternoon with a free position goal in a man down situation to extend the Bobcat lead to 17-13 with 7:31 left in regulation.
