Hannah Jeffrey recorded 23 saves for the Bates women’s lacrosse team last week, and is currently ranked sixth in the nation in NCAA Division III in saves, with 128 through the first 11 games. Jeffrey (Greenwich, Conn.) is also ranked sixth in the nation in save percentage, with a .561 mark.
Jeffrey recorded 15 saves between the pipes in a near upset of No. 7 ranked Bowdoin on Wednesday night, as the Bobcats fell just short in an 8-7 loss. Jeffrey then stopped eight of the 11 shots she faced in just under 40 minutes of play during Saturday’s 15-8 win over NESCAC opponent Connecticut College.
Bates (6-7, 2-6 NESCAC) has only two games remaining this season, traveling to No. 2 ranked Middlebury College on April 11 and concluding with an April 22 contest at No. 4 Colby on April 22.
