Bates senior Sam Berry (South Hamilton, Mass.) had a tremendous week at the plate for the Bobcats, batting .455 (10-22) with nine RBIs and a 1.000 slugging percentage while hitting four home runs in a 3-4 week, giving him a team-high five on the season.

Berry hit a pair of two-run home runs in a key 9-5 victory over NESCAC East rival Tufts University on Friday. With his performance, Berry raised his season batting average to .340 and his season slugging percentage to a team leading .608, and also now leads the Bobcats with a career-best 23 RBIs for the season.
