LEWISTON, Maine -- Bates women's basketball senior captain
Elsa Daulerio was named a D3hoops.com Second Team All-American on Saturday, adding to her post-season accolades.
Daulerio (Harpswell, Maine) joins
Colleen McGrave '99 and
Meghan Graff '23 as the only two-time D3hoops.com All-America selections in program history. She was previously a fourth team D3hoops.com All-American in 2024. In total, Daulerio is the most decorated women's basketball player in Bates history, having been recognized three times by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association in addition to her two awards from D3hoops.com.
The NESCAC Player and Defensive Player of the Year led the Bobcats to 26 wins this season, the most in program history. Bates women's basketball won the NESCAC title for the second time and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament for the fourth time. Daulerio led the Bobcats in scoring (13.9 points per game), rebounding (6.9 per game), and ranked seventh in all of NCAA Division III in blocked shots with 77.
She leaves Bates as the program's sixth-leading scorer (1,375 points), third-leading rebounder (854), and all-time leading shot blocker (230).
This is the 29th year that D3hoops.com has issued All-America awards. These are chosen by D3hoops.com staff in consultation with All-Region voting results from players nominated for
those awards. Daulerio was the Region I Player of the Year.
