LEWISTON, Maine -- The Eastern Athletic Communications Association (EAST-COMM) released its first-ever Academic Honor Roll Friday, honoring student-athletes hard work on the field and in the classroom. A total of 6,697 student-athletes from EAST-COMM member schools between the fall, winter, and spring academic honor rolls from 34 different institutions were recognized.

Overall, Bates College landed 348 recipients on the 2024-25 Academic Honor Roll. 88 Bobcats appeared on the fall honor roll, with 100 on the winter list, and 160 on the spring squad. 

Student-athletes on the list needed to have at least sophomore eligibility and a 3.4 cumulative GPA to be nominated with their school being members of EAST-COMM. 43 different sports were represented between the three teams.
