Phillippe Kosyagin and junior captain
Theo Sardain have earned second team All-NESCAC honors, as announced Wednesday by the New England Small College Athletic Conference.
Kosyagin (Las Vegas, Nev.) and Sardain (Dedham, Mass.) teamed up at No. 1 doubles all season for the Bobcats, earning a number of key victories on their way to an overall record of 10-12. They won nine of their final 14 matches of the season, including a six-match winning streak that started in mid-February and spanned nearly a month.
Highlights for the duo this year included a 7-6 (7-4) win over the doubles team from No. 3 nationally ranked Tufts, a 7-6 (7-5) victory over the doubles team from No. 25 MIT, and a convincing 6-2 win over the doubles team from No. 15 Wesleyan.
