Career: One of 96 Senior Scholar Award-winners, Bobcats who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better.... Finished his career with an overall singles record of 16-46 and an overall doubles record of 31-33.
2025-26: Team captain.... Second team All-NESCAC in doubles with Phillippe Kosyagin '27.... Selected to the College Sports Communicators Men's Tennis Academic All-District® Team.... Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Named to the NESCAC Spring All-Sportsmanship Team.... Posted a singles record of 6-14 and a doubles record of 12-9 as a senior for the Bobcats.... With Kosyagin studying abroad, Sardain teamed with Rocco Regnier '29 in the fall, going 3-4 with wins over opponents from Skidmore (8-6, Middlebury Invitational), Trinity (8-6, Wallach Invitational), and Bryant (7-6, Bryant Hidden Duals).... Picked up an 8-2 win in singles action over an opponent from Emerson at the ITA New England Championships (Oct. 3) and a 7-6 (5), 6-3 victory over an opponent from Trinity at the Wallach Invitational (Oct. 12).... Teamed with Kosyagin for a 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles in a 7-0 victory for Bates over Southern Maine and teamed with Kosyagin again the same day for a 7-6 win at No. 1 doubles in a 4-3 victory for Bates over Brandeis (March 1).... Won at No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles against Trinity, defeating his singles opponent 1-6, 7-6, 1-0 and teaming with Kosyagin to win 6-3 in doubles as Bates prevailed 6-1 over the Bantams (March 8).... Ended the year on a six-match winning streak in doubles with Kosyagin, defeating opponents from Colby (7-5), Hamilton (6-2 in a 6-1 Bates victory), Amherst (6-4), Wesleyan (6-2), Connecticut College (6-4 in a 5-2 Bates win), and MIT (6-2 in a 4-3 Bates win).... Also earned a 6-7, 6-3, 7-6 win at No. 3 singles against Bowdoin (March 28), a 6-2, 6-4 No. 3 singles victory in the win over the Continentals (April 11), and a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles in the victory over the Engineers (April 28).

Teamed with Kosyagin to advance to the round of 32 at the ITA New England Championship with an 8-3 win over a team from Endicott (Sept. 27).... Also advanced to the Wallach Invitational semifinals with Kosyagin in the fall with an 8-4 win over a team from Trinity (Oct. 12).... Picked up an impressive 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles over a duo from NCAA Division II school Eckerd College (Feb. 21).... Highlights for the duo this year included a 7-6 (7-4) win over the doubles team from No. 3 nationally ranked Tufts (March 9), a 7-6 (7-5) victory over the doubles team from No. 25 MIT (March 19), and a convincing 6-2 win over the doubles team from No. 15 Wesleyan (April 13).... Also played at No. 2 singles for Bates, picking up wins over opponents from Nichols and Connecticut College.
2023-24: Earned second team All-NESCAC honors in doubles.... Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... Went 8-10 in doubles and 5-15 in singles play as a sophomore for Bates.... Teamed with Alexander Gujarathi '24 most of the season at No. 1 doubles.... Earned an 8-5 win over a duo from Skidmore College at the ITA New England Championship (Sept. 16).... Started the spring season strong with a 7-6 (7-3) win at No. 1 doubles over a team from NCAA Division II program Florida Southern College (Feb. 22).... Notched an 8-3 win over the No. 1 doubles team from MIT (March 3).... Went on a three-match winning streak with Gujarathi, earning an 8-5 win over opponents from Nichols (March 17), an 8-2 win over a duo from Vassar (March 20), and an 8-3 win over the top team from Conn. College (March 22).... Picked up an 8-3 win over the No. 1 doubles team from Endicott (April 23).... Sardain and Gujarathi saved their best for last with an impressive 8-6 win over the top doubles team from NESCAC foe Amherst (April 27).... In singles action, Sardain earned a 6-4, 3-6, 10-4 win over Bowdoin's Ethan Bradley in the Round of 16 at the Wallach Invitational (Oct. 14).... Played at No. 2 singles and picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win over Nichols College's Trevor Schwarzmann (March 17).... Moved to No. 3 singles and won 7-5, 6-7 (0-7), 6-1 over Vassar's Eugene Lee (March 20).... Earned a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles over Connecticut College's Jared Leong (March 22).... Moved up to No. 1 singles and won 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 14-12 over Endicott's Conrad Kadel (April 23).
2022-23: Went 3-4 in doubles and 2-3 in singles play as a rookie for the Bobcats.... Teamed with Nikesh Desai '24 and advanced to the semifinals of the Middlebury Invitational in the fall.... Teamed with Nick Forester '23 to earn an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles over opponents from NCAA Division II school Saint Michael's College (Oct. 15).... In singles play, Sardain advanced to the round of 32 at the ITA New England Championship.... Did not compete in any spring dual matches for Bates.
