2024-25: Second team All-NESCAC in doubles with Theo Sardain '26.... Selected to the College Sports Communicators Men's Tennis Academic All-District® Team.... Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Posted an 11-12 record in doubles play while playing at the top of the lineup for Bates.... Teamed with Sardain to advance to the round of 32 at the ITA New England Championship with an 8-3 win over a team from Endicott (Sept. 27).... Also advanced to the Wallach Invitational semifinals with Sardain in the fall with an 8-4 win over a team from Trinity (Oct. 12).... Picked up an impressive 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles over a duo from NCAA Division II school Eckerd College (Feb. 21).... Highlights for the duo this year included a 7-6 (7-4) win over the doubles team from No. 3 nationally ranked Tufts (March 9), a 7-6 (7-5) victory over the doubles team from No. 25 MIT (March 19), and a convincing 6-2 win over the doubles team from No. 15 Wesleyan (April 13).... Also played at No. 1 singles for the Bobcats, earning NESCAC wins over opponents from Connecticut College and Trinity.
2023-24: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... Went 5-10 in doubles play and 2-4 in singles play as a rookie for the Bobcats.... Earned a 6-3, 6-3 win over his opponent from Colby Colege in the round of 16 at the Wallach Invitational (Oct. 14).... Won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 singles against his opponent from Endicott (April 23).... Teamed with Matthew Danielson '24 and won five straight matches, starting with an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles over their opponents from Trinity (April 6).... Kosyagin and Danielson kept it rolling at No. 1 doubles with an 8-6 over the Wesleyan University team of JT Bilski and Ben Mitchell (April 7).... Moved to No. 2 doubles and earned an 8-6 win over the Colby College duo of Sandeep Alapati and Paul Dandler (April 14).... Earned a dominating 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles over the Endicott team of Hudson De Risi and Julian Richtarich (April 23).... Kosyagin and Danielson earned perhaps their most impressive win of the season when they defeated the Bowdoin team of Ethan Bradley and Jackson Codd by a count of 8-7 (7-2) at No. 2 doubles (April 24).
Personal: 2023 graduate of The Meadows School (Nev.) where he competed in tennis and wrestling.
