LEWISTON, Maine -- Bates junior center
Elsa Daulerio added to her list of post-season accolades when she was named First Team All-State on Thursday by the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
Daulerio (Harpswell, Maine) is joined as an MWBCA First Team All-State selection by Bowdoin senior guard Sydney Jones, Colby sophomore guard Kate Olenik, Maine Maritime Academy senior guard Erianna Moore, and Saint Joseph's College of Maine graduate student guard Angelica Hurley.
The all-time leading shot blocker in Bates women's basketball history, Daulerio has already been named a Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-America honorable mention, D3hoops.com First Team All-Region, and First Team All-NESCAC for her performance this season, which helped propel Bates to the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament. This is the second First Team All-State selection of Daulerio's career.
Against teams from Maine, Dauleiro tallied 15 points and five rebounds in a 77-54 win over Husson, 11 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in a 73-67 win over Saint Joseph's, nine points on 4-8 shooting, 11 rebounds, four assists, and three blocks in an 80-58 win over Southern Maine, eight points, four rebounds, three assists, and three blocks in a 65-36 win over the University of New England, 17 points on 7-14 shooting, seven rebounds and five assists in a 66-63 win over Colby, 18 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and two blocks at Bowdoin, nine points and 13 rebounds against the University of Maine, 18 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocked shots in NESCAC play against Bowdoin, and 21 points and 11 rebounds in NESCAC play at Colby.
Daulerio led the Bobcats in scoring for the first time in her career, averaging 14.7 points per game. The team's leading rebounder as well at nine per game, Daulerio finished the 2024-25 campaign with eight double-doubles and dished out a career-high 76 assists.
