Bates Puts Six on College Sports Communicators Women's Soccer Academic All-District® Team

LEWISTON, Maine -- Six Bobcats have been selected to the College Sports Communicators Women's Soccer Academic All-District® Team, announced Tuesday. Juniors Ruby Hill, Sydney Litney, Rachel Suh, and Nicole Tandetnitskiy, along with sophomores Eleanor Martin and Gwyn Jamison, made the grade for Bates.

Hill, a mathematics and economics double major (digital and computational studies minor), owns a grade-point average of 3.87. Hailing from Berkeley, Calif., the two-time NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team honoree made 14 appearances (12 starts) for the Bobcats this season, recording two goals. The defender, who saw 975 total minutes on the pitch, collected her first-career tally in an 8-0 rout of Thomas back on Sept. 10.

Litney, with her 3.96 GPA, lands on this elite list. A politics and rhetoric, film, screen studies double major, Sydney started 14 games in goal for the Bobcats, collecting 50 total saves and a 1.44 goals-against average.  A native of Schaumburg, Ill., the two-time NESCAC All-Academic pick made a career-best seven saves to secure a clutch 0-0 tie vs NESCAC foe, Wesleyan University, Sept, 20.

Suh, now a two-time All-District® Team honoree,  authored a GPA of 3.87 as an economics major. Starting all 15 matches, the midfielder from Seattle, Wash. contributed three goals on the year. Rachel's tally proved to be the game-winner (89th minute) in a season-opening 2-1 victory at Husson,  Sept. 3.

Tandetnitskiy,  a biology major, earned a GPA of 3.89. The midfielder appeared in all 15 matches this fall, collecting a goal and an assist in 543 total minutes.  A two-time NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team selection, the resident of Newton, Mass. recorded all three of her career points in the aforementioned victory at Thomas.

Martin, a neuroscience major (education minor), makes her first appearance on the Academic All-District® Team with a grade-point average of 3.93. The forward recorded a team-best five goals (11 points) over her 15 starts. Hailing from Oilville, Va.,  Eleanor posted a pair of two-goal performances for the garnet-and-white, including both tallies in a 2-0 victory over UMass-Boston, Sept. 13.

Jamison, majoring in economics, lands on this list with a GPA of 3.96. The forward from Steamboat Springs, Colo. started all 15 matches in which she appeared, compiling 1,004 overall minutes. Gwyn finished the year with four goals and three assists, posting a tally and a helper in the Bobcats' 2-2 tie vs. at the University of New England, Sept. 23.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
