MIDDLEBURY, Vt.-- The No. 10 nationally ranked Middlebury College women's soccer team earned a 1-0 win over visiting Bates College on Saturday afternoon at the Allan Dragone Track and Field Complex. With the result, the Bobcats fall to 4-7-3 overall and 0-7-2 in NESCAC play.
Junior Mia Feldman scored the lone goal of the match in the 19th minute, providing the Panthers with the eventual game-winner. Middlebury held a 30-5 advantage in shots, including an 11-3 edge on target.
In goal, junior Sydney Litney and first-year Brady Jacobson split time for the Bobcats. Litney tallied four saves, while Jacobson stopped five shots in the second half.
Bates returns home to Russell Street Field on Tuesday for its season finale, hosting Colby College at 7:30 p.m.
