Henry Ehrlich tied for 18th place out of 57 individuals to pace the Bates men's golf team over the weekend at the two-day Williams Spring Invitational.
In their final tournament before next weekend's NESCAC Championships, the Bobcats finished in eighth place out of nine schools with their combined score of 617.
Ehrlich (Portland, Ore.) tallied a 79 on Saturday before improving on that mark by six strokes with a two-over-par 73 on Sunday, good for a tie for the fourth lowest score of the day.
Senior
Evan Glicos (Windham, Maine) fired back-to-back rounds of 77 to finish second on the team and tied for 26th overall. Fellow senior
Paul Detre (Morristown, N.J.) tallied the lowest score of round one for Bates, shooting a 76 on Saturday. He followed that up with an 80 on Sunday, finishing in a tie for 31st.
The Bobcats head to Brunswick Golf Club for the NESCAC Championships this Saturday and Sunday.
