NEW ORLEANS -- All-Region honors for the 2024 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season were announced on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, with four Bates women's track and field athletes making the list.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
All four athletes who earned All-Region honors for Bates set personal records this season.
- Senior Chrissy Aman (Hanover, N.H.) recorded a time of 9:56.93 in the 3,000 meters at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, good for seventh on the Bates all-time performance list.
- Senior Livia Kozick (Portsmouth, N.H.) scored 3,057 points in the pentathlon at the New England Division III Indoor Championship, good for fifth on the Bates all-time performance list.
- Sophomore Carli Ciavarelli (Ridgefield, Conn.) recorded a top weight throw of 52-11 (16.13m) at the Tufts "Last Chance Meet", good for fifth on the Bates all-time performance list.
- Sophomore Kylie Musante (Brentwood, Tenn.) earned All-Region honors in the 800 meters in her first season of collegiate track, recording a time of 2:19.60 at the Tufts "Last Chance" Meet.
The Bobcats open the outdoor track and field season on Saturday, March 30 when they host the Bates College Quad Meet at Russell Street Track.
