BRUNSWICK, Maine -- Sophomore
Henry Ehrlich tied for second out of 30 individuals to lead the Bates men's golf team to second place at the CBB Championship on Saturday, hosted by Bowdoin at Brunswick Golf Club.
Ehrlich (Portland, Ore.) birdied four holes on his way to a 74, just two strokes back of individual medalist Johnny Kinsley of Colby College. Meanwhile, senior
Paul Detre (Morristown, N.J.) turned in a top-10 performance for the Bobcats with a 76, tied for eighth place.
Bates shot 17 over par as a team, seven strokes back of host Bowdoin, as the Polar Bears recaptured the CBB title. Colby finished a distant third at 30 over par.Â
The Bobcats are back in action next Saturday and Sunday at the Skidmore Invitational.
