BRUNSWICK, Maine -- Sophomore
Henry Ehrlich tied for 41st out of 109 competitors to lead the Bates men's golf team to a 12th place showing out of 22 teams at the Bowdoin Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at Brunswick Golf Club.
Ehrlich (Portland, Ore.) finished with a two-day score of 154, after shooting 75 on Saturday and 79 on Sunday. The Bobcats shot 43 over par as a team, two strokes better than 13th-place Salem State and eight strokes back of 11th-place Middlebury.
Senior
John Kawakami (Northport, N.Y.) shot a 77 on Saturday and matched Ehrlich with a 79 on Sunday for a two-day score of 156, good for second on the team and a tie for 51st overall. Junior
Freddie Curtis (Harvard, Mass.) finished one stroke back of Kawakami and junior
Will Phillips (Portland, Ore.) was one stroke back of Curtis.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday when they return to Brunswick Golf Club and look to defend their CBB Championship.
