Jordan Wilson moved from seventh into third place on the Bates women's track and field All-Time Performance List in the 3,000 meter steeplechase on Thursday at the MIT Final Qualifying Meet.
Wilson (Medfield, Mass.) raced to the finish in 11:10.39, good for third place at the meet and 34th in the nation this season. She jumps slightly ahead of teammate first-year
Olivia Reynolds of Cumberland, Maine (11:11.59) on the Bates all-time performance list in the steeplechase.Â
In other action, senior captain
Elise Lambert (Amherst, N.H.) won the 800 meters in a season-best outdoors time of 2:11.94, placing her 22nd in the country this year in the event.Â
Meanwhile, senior captain
Amanda Kaufman (Somers, Conn.) won her heat in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.10 seconds. Then she finished fourth in the final in 15.20 seconds.Â
Select Bobcats will compete in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 26-28 in Geneva, Ohio.
