BRUNSWICK, Maine -- The Bates women's track and field team won the Maine State Indoor Championship for the third year in a row on Friday, outpacing runner-up Colby by 37.5 points.

It was Bates' third consecutive state title, and only the third since 1984 and sixth overall since the meet began in 1979. There is no women's outdoor state championship meet in Maine.
