SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- The No. 16 nationally ranked Bates women's squash team opened the 2016-17 season with a dominating 9-0 victory at No. 28 Mount Holyoke on Friday at the MHC Squash Courts.
The Bobcats (1-0) looked in midseason form against the host Lyons (2-3), sweeping each matchup on the ladder in three games apiece.

Luca Polgar (Budapest, Hungary) defeated Ragini Ghose 11-2, 11-8, 11-4 in her collegiate debut. Sophomore
Vicky Arjoon (Georgetown, Guyana) topped Allison Shilling at No. 3, 11-4, 11-6, 11-6.
