LEWISTON, Maine - The Bates men's squash team followed last night's victory over Bowdoin with a 9-0 win over MIT Saturday afternoon at the Bates Squash Center. The Bobcats improved to 9-7 on the season, while the loss drops the Engineers below the .500 mark at 7-8.
Bates was led today by sophomore Darrius Campbell (St. Stephen, S.C.) and senior Andy Cannon (Greenwich, Conn.), who played out of the number one and two positions, respectively. Campbell defeated Nikhil Punwaney in straight games, 11-4, 11-7, and 11-9, while Cannon also won 3-0 over MIT's Dominic Hansford.Â
The Bobcats did not lost a game on the day, and will next travel to Colby College on Wednesday, February 4th at 5:00 pm.Â
