For the visitors, sophomore Levi Barnes (Skowhegan, Maine) netted a team-high 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting as the only double-digit scorer for the Terriers. Junior Eric Westbrook (Dublin, Ireland) chipped in with eight points.

Bates held advantages in rebounds (60-22), points in the paint (62-20), points off turnovers (25-5), second-chance points (27-8), and bench points (48-26).

The Bobcats led from wire to wire in the game, jumping out to a 24-5 lead just over five minutes into the contest. The team pushed its lead over 20 points for the first time at 36-15 with 8:55 left in the opening half after a jumper and 3-pointer from Selmon. The hosts closed the first half with a 17-2 run.

Bates hit 100 points with 7:57 remaining on a layup from Marcus Delpeche and took a lead as large as 59 points (111-52) at the 4:10 mark in the second stanza.

The Bobcats continued their high-flying ways in the game as Malcolm Delpeche, Marcus Delpeche, and Mike Boornazian each threw down two dunks.
