In the second inning, the Bantams sent 11 batters to the plate, four of them hitting for extra bases, as they posted seven runs on the board. In the inning, Tait hit a 2-run home run, junior tri-captain Ariana Mullin (Woodbridge, Conn.) hit a three-run home run, sophomore Erika Klotz (Naperville, Ill.) hit an RBI triple and Taylor Larese hit a double.
