FARMINGTON, Maine -- Junior Kyle Rushton (Windham, N.H.) led the way with a pair of goals as the Bates College men's soccer team won at the University of Maine-Farmington 5-0 on Wednesday.
Also scoring for the Bobcats were sophomore Duane Pelz (Boulder, Colo.), who broke a scoreless tie in the 32nd minute, sophomore Brent Morin (Hanover, N.H.) and junior Atdhe Matoshi (Bronx, N.Y.).
The host Beavers dropped to 3-5-2 for the season.
Bates (7-2-1, 3-2-1 NESCAC) return to league play with a game scheduled at Wesleyan University on Saturday.
