A senior captain, Moloney-Kolenberg played a key role in the Bates field hockey team's stunning come-from-behind win over Bowdoin last Tuesday. She scored the equalizer off a penalty corner in the 60th minute to force overtime. Then she won the game in the extra session with a brilliant drag off a transition pass from sophomore Elsa Copeland to secure a 4-3 victory for the Bobcats. Bates once trailed 3-0 in the contest and still trailed 3-1 with under four minutes remaining. It's believed to be the biggest come-from-behind win in program history. 

Moloney-Kolenberg wasn't done. On Saturday, she dished out the assist on the equalizer from senior captain Lucy Norris as Bates rallied to defeat the Amherst College Mammoths by a count of 2-1 for their first win on the road at Amherst since 2006. 

Moloney-Kolenberg is tied for the team-lead in goals (4) and holds the team-lead in assists (4) as the Bobcats are off to an 8-0 start, their best start to a season since 1973.
