In Friday's first round match, Polgar swept Bowdoin's Clio Bersani 3-0 (11-8, 11-8, 11-5) to help Bates defeat Bowdoin 9-0. Then Polgar won a five-game battle with Middlebury's Beatrijs Kuijpers on Saturday, rallying from down two games to one and winning 3-2 (11-9, 8-11, 6-11, 11-8, 11-7).

Although the Bobcats fell to the Panthers 5-4, Bates bounced back later in the day to beat Hamilton 9-0, with Polgar winning 3-0 (11-1, 11-1, 11-4) against Hamilton's Charlotte Zonis.

In the fifth-place match, Polgar rallied from a game down to defeat Tufts' Claire Davidson 3-1 (10-12, 11-9, 11-3, 12-10) to finish off her 4-0 week. Polgar has won 11 consecutive matches against NESCAC opponents.
