LEWISTON, Maine – Bates women's soccer earns back-to-back NESCAC wins for the first time since 2017, defeating Trinity 2-0 during Back to Bates weekend.
Bates (4-3-1, 2-3 NESCAC) secured its second consecutive NESCAC victory and remained undefeated at Russell Street Field with a 2-0 win over Trinity on Saturday.
Junior
Eleanor Martin (Oilville, Va.) continued her impressive scoring run after netting twice against Bowdoin in the Bobcats' previous game. Martin opened the scoring in the 13th minute, finishing a pass from senior

The Bobcats carried that advantage into halftime before first-year

Martin and Ladich have now each scored five goals this season, marking the first time since 2014 that two Bates teammates have reached that milestone in the same season. Julia Rosen '18 and Dakota Donovan '15 each scored five goals that year.
Senior goalkeeper
Sydney Litney (Schaumburg, Ill.) made five saves to record the shutout and secure the win for the Bobcats.
The Bobcats hit the road next to face Maine Maritime Academy on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. in a non-conference matchup.
